Nairobi, (SONNA) – Somalia’s Ambassador to Kenya, Jabril Ibrahim Abdulle, held a fruitful meeting with Denmark’s Ambassador to Somalia, Steen Sonne Andersen, and other diplomats to discuss strengthening diplomatic ties and enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
“We had a constructive meeting with Ambassador Steen Sonne Andersen and other diplomats, where we discussed political progress and deepening our collaboration with Denmark. Both countries are committed to prioritizing climate change, global peace, and security in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) sessions for 2025-2026,” Ambassador Abdulle stated.
The ambassador emphasized the mutual commitment of Somalia and Denmark to fostering a partnership rooted in shared interests and a common vision for development and security. He noted that Denmark remains a key partner in supporting Somalia’s progress, particularly in areas of governance and sustainable development.
This engagement highlights the growing cooperation between the two countries as they work toward shared goals on the international stage.
