Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, conducted a working visit to the Ministry of Defense headquarters.
During the visit, the President held productive meetings with senior leaders of the Somali Armed Forces and Intelligence to accelerate operations aimed at eradicating extremist groups.
He also received updates on the country’s overall security situation, ongoing anti-terrorism efforts, and strategies to strengthen them. The President commended the courage and sacrifice demonstrated by the Somali National Army in their relentless fight for peace and stability.
