Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army (SNA), in collaboration with local forces, has successfully eliminated four militants from the extremist group Al-Shabaab during a targeted operation in Camaara, Mudug region.
The operation, which was meticulously planned, focused on a residence occupied by Ismaaciil Beerdile, a senior leader of the group who was responsible for its so-called “court” in the Galgaduud region.
Security forces seized four rifles and a cache of ammunition from the site, while additional casualties were reported among the militants. Military sources confirmed that the operation dealt a significant blow to the group’s activities in the area.
Officials praised the joint efforts of the national and local forces, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration in maintaining security and stability in the region.
