Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army and the local forces foiled an attempted ambush by the Al-Shabaab terrorists in Ceeldheer district in the Galgaduud region and killed dozens of the militants in the early hours of Saturday.
The army had the information of the attack coming their way an prepared to defend their base using tactics and plans to eliminate the enemy.
A commander of the Somali army based in Ceeldheer district told SONNA that the army received information regarding the attack and prepared for an offensive fight against the Al-Shabaab militants.
