Mecca – The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has advised pilgrims holding a Hajj visa or permit via the Nusuk platform to prepare early for a smooth Hajj journey and to avoid potential difficulties by following the Ministry’s guidance and the instructions provided by relevant authorities in their home countries.

In a series of social media posts, the Ministry shared a comprehensive set of tips to help pilgrims prepare effectively and minimize travel hassles. Recommendations included early trip preparation, minimizing luggage, adhering to baggage weight and size specifications, punctual arrival at the airport, and ensuring all travel documents are in order before departure.

The Ministry also emphasized the importance of physical readiness to avoid stress during Hajj. Pilgrims were encouraged to familiarize themselves with the journey and rituals, understand the distances between holy sites, engage in daily exercise, and avoid strenuous activities. Additionally, the Ministry advised wearing comfortable sports or medical shoes, avoiding fatty foods, taking adequate rest, practicing moderation, and staying hydrated.
