Mogadishu(SONNA)-President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo on Saturday attended the launching ceremony of the establishment of Somalia’s Anti- Corruption Commission, SONNA reported.
President Farmajo recognized the August 14 as anti-corruption day, saying that Somalia supports the fight against graft at all levels.
“I am proud of Somalia Anti-Corruption Commission for our nation’s historical signatory to global Anti-Corruption Laws and conventions including African Union, Arab League and the United Nations Convention against Corruption. Somalia supports the fight against graft at all levels”, Mr. Farmajo said.
Some Government Ministers and the anti-corruption attended the launching event held here in Mogadishu today.
