Davos, January 2025: His Excellency President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held high-level bilateral meetings at the World Economic Forum in Davos, underscoring Somalia’s commitment to fostering international partnerships for shared development and prosperity.
President Mohamud met with H.E. Mohamed Al Menfi, Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya, to discuss strengthening the historical relationship between Somalia and Libya. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest and deepening ties between the two nations.
In a separate meeting, President Mohamud engaged with H.E. Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, to explore opportunities for greater collaboration.
