Davos, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The forum gathers global leaders to address pressing economic, political, and social issues.
President Mohamud is set to deliver a keynote speech highlighting Somalia’s development progress, economic growth, and the government’s long-term plans for sustainable development. He will also emphasize the importance of strengthening partnerships with key countries to advance Somalia’s infrastructure and economic foundation.
During his visit, President Mohamud will receive the Africa Presidential Leadership Award, an honor recognizing his leadership in promoting peace, stability, and economic advancement in Somalia.
The President is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with international leaders and key stakeholders attending the forum. These discussions aim to strengthen global cooperation and attract investments to Somalia, underscoring the country’s potential as a rising economic hub in the region.
