Mogadishu(SONNA)-President of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has received China’s Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa, Ambassador Xue Bing at Villa-Somalia and discussed on strengthening bilateral relations between the countries.
“Today, H.E. President @HassanSMohamud received Ambassador Xue Bing, China’s Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa at the Presidential Palace. Their discussions focused on regional developments, with both sides emphasising the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Somalia and China”, Villa Somalia said.
Ambassador Xue commended the Somali government’s progress and lauded the recent Ankara Declaration as a positive step toward fostering regional stability and cooperation.
