Beijing, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in Beijing, China to participate in the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) that will take place between 4th to 6th September.
The President will later engage in discussions on key issues, including economic cooperation, infrastructure development, and strengthening diplomatic ties between Somalia and China.
The President of the People’s Republic of China, H.E Xi Jingping will host African leaders and their spouses to a banquet on the 4th and officially launch the FOCAC on the 5th.
Leaders from Africa will have several sessions alongside their counterparts and other Chinese officials to discuss about modernisation and a shared future between China and Africa.
