Baidoa, (SONNA) – The district of Bardale in Bay region is in a state of emergency due to heavy floods that cut access to basic needs such as electricity, water, and movements of people and vehicles.

The indications are huge damages to the businesses and houses after the floods, as Siraaji Sheikh Isaq, (national news correspondent) who is currently on the ground sends the reports.

“Most of the residents of Bardale district have been displaced by the heavy rains and the flash of floods that entered their homes,” Siraaji added.

The administration of the town called for emergency aid so that the displaced people could get the basic needs and send support to the people in the town of Bardale.
