SONNA – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H. E, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud had a fruitful meeting with the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H. E, Emir Mohamed Binu Salman Binu Abdiaziz.
The Emir welcomed the successes the government reached in the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorists and the self-sacrificing soldiers along with the locals who took arms to liberate their regions and at large their country. He also showed the readiness of the Saudi government’s full support to the people and government of Somalia.
President Hassan thanked the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi for the support and said the Somali government gives priority to the long-standing relations between both countries.
The meeting also focused on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation, the region’s security, and the common interests of the two sides.
