Expanding his diplomatic and military engagements beyond the capital, the Director General executed a targeted visit to Fort Bragg, a premier installation for United States Special Operations Command located in North Carolina. During this localized deployment, he convened a critical tactical briefing with Colonel Benander, a senior commander of the U.S. Special Forces possessing extensive operational experience within Somalia. Concluding his strategic engagements, the intelligence chief formally recognized the United States Government for its continuous, critical support of Somalia’s national security mandates.
