Interior Minister Co-Chairs Somali Stability Fund III Steering Committee Meeting

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh, co-chaired the Somali Stability Fund III High Level Steering Committee meeting with H.E. Charles King, British Ambassador to Somalia, bringing together government institutions, SSF donor partners and the SSF team to review the Fund’s Year 4 work-plan.

The Committee endorsed the Year 4 work-plan, reaffirming the importance of government led, risk informed and coordinated support to Somalia’s stability priorities, including conciliation, local governance, social cohesion, inclusion and institutional strengthening.

The meeting underscored the shared commitment to ensuring that SSF support delivers practical results for Somali communities.

The SSF High Level Steering Committee endorsed the Year 4 work-plan, marking an important step toward focused implementation of priorities that support stability, local governance, conciliation and social cohesion across Somalia.
