Nairobi, (SONNA) — The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Kenya, Jabril Ibrahim Abdulle, attended the closing ceremony of the Qur’an Competition held at Al Huda Mosque, describing the event as a deeply inspiring gathering that celebrated faith, learning, and unity.
The Ambassador praised the outstanding performances of students from diverse communities, including Hagardher and Dadaab, noting the beauty, precision, sincerity, and dignity with which they recited the Holy Qur’an, reflecting a strong commitment to upholding its teachings.
He extended his sincere gratitude to the organizers, scholars, and teachers—particularly the leadership of Masjid Al-Huda—for their dedication to Islamic education and youth development. The Ambassador emphasized that through their guidance, young people are being nurtured not only as reciters of the Qur’an but also as ambassadors of its core values, including humility, justice, compassion, and unity.
Addressing the participants, Ambassador Jabril Ibrahim Abdulle affirmed that true success lies with Allah alone, regardless of awards or titles. He prayed that Allah (SWT) bless the young reciters, reward their families and teachers, and grant them success in this world and in the Hereafter.
