Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Deputy Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdihakim Ashkir met with the Deputy Director General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) alongside the IOM Regional Director for East and Horn of Africa, the Chief of Mission in Somalia, and the Deputy Chief of Mission.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in the areas of stabilization, civil registration and durable solutions.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Somalia’s governance, and recovery efforts through strengthened partnership and aligned priorities.
