Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, has returned to Mogadishu after concluding a historic four-day visit to the city of Laascaanood, the capital of Sool region. He was warmly welcomed at the capital by government officials and members of the public.
The Prime Minister embarked on the landmark visit on April 12, aimed at strengthening national unity and promoting peace. During his time in Lasanood, he laid the foundation stones for several key development projects and officially launched others, underscoring the federal government’s commitment to inclusive growth and local empowerment.
In his address, Prime Minister Hamza praised the regional administration and local communities for their steadfast commitment to preserving Somalia’s unity and sovereignty. The successful conclusion of what was dubbed the “Peace and Unity Tour” marks a significant step in fostering national cohesion and rebuilding trust across regions.
