Mogadishu, SONNA – The Deputy Minister of Health of Somalia, Dr. Mohamed Hassan Mohamed Bulale, paid a visit to De Martino Hospital in Mogadishu to assess the quality of healthcare services and inspect the newly established emergency and rescue management center. During his visit, Dr. Bulale met with hospital staff, medical personnel, and patients, commending the team for their dedication and adherence to the Ministry of Health’s standards.

The visit was aimed at ensuring the effective delivery of healthcare services, evaluating the quality of medical equipment, and overseeing the smooth operation of medical activities at the hospital. Dr. Bulale particularly focused on inspecting the new emergency and rescue management center, which is expected to enhance the hospital’s capacity to handle critical cases.

In his remarks, the Deputy Minister praised the staff and personnel of De Martino Hospital for their commitment to implementing the Ministry’s guidelines for patient care and emergency management. “I congratulate the team at De Martino Hospital for their hard work and dedication. Their efforts in managing the new emergency center and providing quality care to patients align with the Ministry’s vision for improved healthcare services,” said Dr. Bulale.

During the visit, Dr. Bulale also met with over 30 patients receiving treatment in various departments, including emergency care and critical care units. He took the time to speak with patients and medical staff, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges and successes of the hospital’s operations.

The visit shows the Somali Ministry of Health’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that medical facilities across the country meet the highest standards of service delivery. De Martino Hospital, a key healthcare institution in Mogadishu, continues to play a vital role in providing essential medical services to the Somali population.
