Mogadishu, SONNA)-: Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre received Chinese Ambassador to Somalia Fei Shengchao in his office on Monday.
The two officials discussed strengthening bilateral relations between Somalia and China in the fields of politics, cooperation, security, economic development, and humanitarian issues.
Prime Minister Hamse thanked the Chinese government for its support, which he said always stands by the government and the Somali people.
Ambassador Shengchao noted that Somalia is a strategic friend of China, and is committed to continuing to support Somalia’s government and cooperation with them.
