Mogadishu (SONNA): Somali Elite Commandos (DANAB) conducted a military operation in Hawadleey, Shanlow Jameco, Yaaqle, Dhagahow towns in Middle Shabelle region, SONNA Reported.
Ahmed Abdullahi Nur Beeryare, Commander of the 16th battalion of DANAB forces told the state media that the military operation resulted in the Killing of at least 15 terrorist and successfully destroying their hideouts and bases in the region.
The residents of the newly-liberated areas said that they have been hit hard by Al-Shabaab militants looting and intimidation, Thanking SNA forces for combating the terrorists and restoring peace and security to the towns and villages in the region.
