Djibouti (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and the delegation he leads arrived in Djibouti City to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Djibouti’s re-elected President, H.E. Ismaïl Omar Guelleh.
The President and his delegation were warmly received at Djibouti International Airport by Djibouti’s Prime Minister, H.E. Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed, along with other senior officials, reflecting the strong brotherly relations and cooperation between Somalia and Djibouti.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is among the leaders and officials from across the Horn of Africa invited to attend the inauguration ceremony. During his visit, he is also expected to hold meetings with senior Djiboutian leaders and other officials.
