Mogadishu (SONNA): The Banadir Regional Emergency Response Department, led by its Director, Abdulsalam Dahir Magan, carried out rescue operations, evacuations, and road clearance efforts following heavy rains that hit Mogadishu.
The downpour disrupted public movement, prompting authorities to launch an immediate and large-scale emergency response.
The Director urged residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with emergency services, advising the public to report urgent situations through the emergency number 991.
