Tripoli, (SONNA) – On the sidelines of the Second Session of the High Council of the Arab Planning Institute, Somalia’s State Minister for Planning, Investment, and Economic Development, H.E. Ahmednur Sheikh Mohamed, held a high-level meeting with the Prime Minister of Libya, H.E. Abdulhamid Dubeibah.
The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation between Somalia and Libya in several key areas, including migration management, skills development for Somali workers, vocational training for public and private sector personnel, and expanding scholarship opportunities for Somali youth to study in and outside Libya.
The two leaders also discussed ways to strengthen Somalia–Libya relations and promote broader Arab cooperation.
Minister Ahmednur expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality and ongoing support from the Libyan government, reaffirming Somalia’s commitment to deepening the fraternal ties between the two nations.
