Cairo, (SONNA) – The Second Deputy Speaker of the House of the People, Mr. Abdullahi Omar Abshiro, along with a delegation of parliamentarians, participated in the 7th Arab Parliament Conference held in Cairo, Egypt, which is also the headquarters of the Arab League. This year’s conference focused on supporting the resilience of the Palestinian people.
The event saw the attendance of parliamentary leaders from various Arab nations, discussing the situation in Palestine and rejecting plans to displace Palestinian citizens from their lands. Throughout the meeting, the attending leaders expressed strong support for the Palestinian cause, vigorously defending it.
The Speaker extended gratitude to the organizers of the conference and the Egyptian government for their hospitality. He emphasized Somalia’s clear stance on the Palestinian issue, affirming that Somalia stands firmly beside Palestine and supports its rightful cause.
