Doha, (SONNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, held a bilateral meeting in Doha with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, H.E. Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Ministerial Session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Contact Group on Somalia. Both sides discussed ways to further strengthen the historic ties between Somalia and Qatar and explored opportunities to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The talks reaffirmed the commitment of both governments to deepening their partnership across diplomatic, economic, and development sectors.
