Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. Mohamud Moallim Abdulle, and his Deputy, Dr. Ahmed A. Adan, welcomed the Somali Police Force Commissioner, Gen. Asad Osman Abdullahi, during a meeting held today at SoDMA headquarters.
The high-level meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in securing humanitarian operations across the country. Discussions emphasized the critical role of the Somali Police Force in ensuring safety in relief zones and supporting the smooth delivery of humanitarian aid.
Both sides acknowledged the importance of joint coordination between security and disaster management institutions to protect vulnerable populations and improve response effectiveness in emergency situations.
