TRIPOLI (SONNA) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, alongside a high-level diplomatic delegation, officially arrived in Tripoli, the capital of Libya, today. Upon arrival at the international airport, the Somali executive delegation received a formal state reception led directly by H.E. Fathallah Abdel-Latif Al-Zani, the Libyan Minister of State for African Affairs.
This strategic deployment to North Africa is explicitly engineered to fortify Somalia’s geopolitical alignment with its continental partners. The diplomatic mission focuses entirely on scaling bilateral cooperation between Mogadishu and Tripoli, while actively coordinating joint strategies to secure regional stability.
