Somali, Algerian Police Chiefs Discuss Strengthening Security Cooperation
Algiers (SONNA) — The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Algeria, Mr. Yusuf Ahmed Hassan (Yusuf Jeego), held a meeting with the General Commander of the Algerian National Police, Mr. Ali Badaoui.
The discussions focused on enhancing the longstanding cooperation between Somalia and Algeria, particularly in the field of police development.
Both sides agreed to strengthen collaboration in police capacity-building, specialized training, and the use of scientific and technical methods in criminal investigations, including fingerprint and DNA analysis, as well as crime scene examination.
