Mogadishu, SONNA – On Wednesday, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, convened a high-level meeting with the leadership of the Defence Ministry and top army commanders at the Defence Ministry headquarters in Mogadishu.
The President was briefed on the latest military offensive against terrorists, with a particular focus on operations in Jubbaland State, where the army has made significant gains.
