Beijing, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held a phone call with Josep Borrell Fontelles, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission.
They reaffirmed the importance of safeguarding Somalia’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. The President expressed gratitude for the EU’s enduring support in Somalia’s security and the joint efforts to combat terrorism.
Both leaders underscored the significance of the Somalia-EU partnership in promoting regional stability, peace, and prosperity.
