Ministry of Information, Mogadishu University to collaborate on Tourism and Public Awareness initiatives

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Daud Aweis Jamac, announced a significant collaboration between Mogadishu University and the Ministry of Information aimed at advancing tourism, public awareness, media, and essential community services.

Speaking on the partnership, Minister Jamac stated, “Mogadishu University and the Ministry of Information will work together to promote tourism, enhance public awareness, improve media initiatives, and deliver essential services needed by the community.”

During a meeting held at the Ministry’s headquarters with Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Mursal, President of Mogadishu University, Minister Jaamac emphasized that the topics discussed will play a pivotal role in shaping government policies, particularly in the tourism sector. He highlighted the potential for tourism to generate significant economic growth for the nation.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Information, H.E Abdirahman Yusuf Al-Adala, the Director-General  Abdullahi Hayir Duale, underlining the importance of this partnership for Somalia’s development goals.
