Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Internal Security of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail Fartaag, met with Ambassador Wang Yu in Mogadishu to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation and advancing shared priorities in security and institutional capacity-building.
Discussions focused on support for security sector development, professional training, and cooperation in addressing explosive threats, including mines and unexploded ordnance. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing Somalia–China partnership in support of lasting peace, stability, and national security.
