Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu, H.E Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Mungaab) received the Ambassador of Sudan to Somalia, H.E Abdurahman Khaliil Afandi, and discussed the bilateral relations of the two countries and ways for Mogadishu and Khartoum to have cooperation.
The meeting underscored the shared opportunities of the two nations and sharing experience between the two cities.
Mayor Mungaab commended the support of the Sudanese Government and their shared relations, and wished for a quick recovery from the civil conflicts which struck Sudan.
The Ambassador praised the warmth welcome and briefed the Governor of the Sudanese diaspora in Mogadishu and their situation, and the Ambassador vowed to work closely with the Sudanese resident in the capital.
