Mogadishu(SONNA)-Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Abdi Hayer (Mareye) said weekly awareness program on Covid-19 would start from all districts in Benadir region soon, SONNA reported.
The Minister said that the Gov’t is committed to eradicate the Corona-virus which had a negative impact in our society, noting they would do their best to fight against the pandemic.
“We will make this awareness campaign all districts in Benadir region, in order, to combat the pandemic. We request Somali people living in the capital to work with us on the fight against Coronavirus”, the Minister said.
The Government is currently using multiple options of conveying awareness programs to reach all Somali people in the country.
