Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The National Civil Service Commission and Hodan Hospital have officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at improving access to quality healthcare services for government civil servants.
Under the agreement, all civil servants registered with the commission will benefit from a 50% discount on all medical services provided by Hodan Hospital. The discount will also extend to their family members, enhancing overall healthcare access and support for public sector employees.
The Chairman of the National Civil Service Commission, Hassan Abshirow Mohamed, described the agreement as a significant step toward strengthening healthcare services for government workers. He noted that all eligible employees would have full access to the discounted services.
Meanwhile, the Director General of Hodan Hospital, Dr. Mohamed Ishaq Omar, welcomed the partnership, reaffirming the hospital’s commitment to delivering high-quality, affordable healthcare services tailored to the needs of civil servants and their families.
The agreement forms part of ongoing efforts by the National Civil Service Commission to enhance employee welfare and healthcare access, particularly as Somalia continues to work toward fully implementing a national health insurance system.
