Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Public Works, Reconstruction, and Housing of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Elmi Mahamoud Nur, held a meeting today with a delegation from the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The Minister was joined by several directors from the Ministry, and discussions focused on the development of social services.
Key topics included the presentation of shelter designs for displaced persons, accelerating plans to provide affordable quality housing, and reviewing and strengthening the cooperation agreement between the Ministry and IOM.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing essential social services and strengthening international partnerships to support Somali citizens in need.
