Mogadishu, Somalia, SONNA – President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia has welcomed the outcomes of the National Consultative Forum which concluded in Mogadishu today. The forum, held from June 16th to 19th, 2025, brought together leaders from the Federal Government, regional states, political organizations, religious scholars, and civil society to discuss critical issues facing the nation.
President Mohamud, who convened and officially opened the forum, had emphasized its inclusive nature, ensuring that all stakeholders had an opportunity to contribute to the discussions. The forum addressed key agendas including national unity, security and the fight against terrorism, constitutional completion, democratization, and upcoming elections. The outcomes of the forum reflect a collective commitment towards strengthening Somalia’s state-building process.
