Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi provided confirmed that Nuur Abdi Rooble (Nuunuule), a senior Al-Shabaab terrorist commander responsible for orchestrating attacks in Hiiraan, Middle Shabelle, Mudug, and Galgaduud, has succumbed to wounds sustained in yesterday’s targeted operation.
Since joining in 2009, Nuur was among the most ruthless terrorists, involved in numerous attacks against civilians across Somalia. His death deals a significant blow to terror networks threatening our country.
