Mogadishu, (SONNA) — Somali Police have arrested Shariif Mohamed Ahmed, the main suspect in the killing of former national football player Abdifitah Abdi Osman. The arrest took place at the Hodan District Police Station in the Banadir region.
The incident occurred near Soobe Junction in Hodan District. The late Abdifitah, once a celebrated figure in Somali football, was laid to rest today in Mogadishu.
Banadir Regional Police Commander, Col. Mahdi Omar Mumin, confirmed the arrest and assured the public that the suspect will be brought before the competent court to face justice.
