Hosted in Mogadishu during the holy month of Ramadan, the high-level gathering operated under the defining theme “Somalia Rising.” The event convened the accredited Diplomatic Corps to review the nation’s political trajectory, state-building momentum, and expanding global alliances.
Addressing the international delegation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, outlined the Federal Government’s steady advancement over the past three years. He detailed the successful fortification of state institutions and the active promotion of inclusive political dialogue among national stakeholders. The Minister specifically drew attention to recent high-level talks between the Federal Government and opposition leaders at Villa Somalia.
