Mogadishu, (SONNA): – The Somali Council of Ministers held a meeting to review the current situation of the country in terms of security, politics and economy. The meeting focused on the violation of the agreement between Ethiopia and the Somaliland administration (in the northern regions of Somalia) by the Ethiopian government.
The cabinet commended the Somali people for their courage and patriotism in protesting against Ethiopia’s aggression at home and abroad. The cabinet also welcomed the strong stance of the international community and organizations in condemning Ethiopia’s infringement of Somalia’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Government spokesperson Farhan Jimale briefed the media on the key decisions made by the cabinet.
