Hirshabelle, SONNA — The Somali National Army (SNA), in close coordination with local defense forces, launched a successful planned operation in the Ceelka-Nuurgadoow area of Al-Kowsar district, Middle Shabelle. The mission targeted Kharijite militants who had converged at a local well.
According to military sources, several militants were killed in the clash, with heavy artillery used to destroy enemy hideouts. The operation marks another significant step in the ongoing campaign to liberate regions still under the threat of extremist groups.
The SNA reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the Somali people and ensuring no safe haven remains for terrorist elements.
