Mogadishu, (SONNA) – Mahad Aw Osman Sabriye who was a former senior leader of the Al-Shabaab terrorists has surrendered to the Somali National Army in the Galdadud region.
Mahad was a senior leader for the terrorist militants and the head of the militia in Galcad district and areas such as Budbud, Cowsweyn and Masagawa.
Hagar Barre, leader of the local fighters (the Macawisley) told SONNA that the individual who surrendered was one of the senior leaders who used to cause the most terror to the people of Ceeldheer and Galcad districts.
