Mogadishu, (SONNA) — Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, today received the Minister of Ports and Marine Transport, Hon. Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur (Jama), and the Manager of Mogadishu Port, Ambassador Mohamed Ali Nur (Americo), at his office.
The Prime Minister congratulated the management and staff of Mogadishu Port for the remarkable progress achieved in port operations and infrastructure. He specifically praised them for securing the first position among East African ports and ranking fourth among Africa’s most advanced ports, describing it as a significant milestone for Somalia’s economic development and regional competitiveness.
