Mogadishu (SONNA): The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia H.E Hassan Ali Khayre on Tuesday evening chaired a meeting for the national committee to combat COVID-19
The National committee discussed the urgent need to provide medical assistance to the most affected areas of COVID-19 in federal member states.
Among the participants in the video conference meeting was Galmudug state president, Ahmed Ali Kariye (Qor-Qor) where he reported to the national committee the urgency of providing quick medical aid to his region.
Galmudug state region is among the recent most affected regions witnessing an increase in the number of corona virus cases in these recent weeks.
Finally the Prime minister commanded the committee to deliver an immediate emergency aid packages to the most coronavirus hard -hit areas.
