Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Ministry of Planning, Investment and Economic Development of the Federal Government of Somalia, through its Monitoring ans Evaluation Department has convened the 2025 Annual Review of the World Food Program (WFP) programs in Mogadishu.
The meeting was presided over by the Director General of the Ministry, Mr. Mohamed Shite and attended WFP’s Deputy Head of program, Michele Kiermeier, and line ministries of the Federal Government of Somalia.
Discussions focused on alignment with the National Transformation Plan (NTP2025_2029), strengthening the national agenda, and applying Results-Based Monitoring (RBM) to achieve measurable impact.
The ministry remains committed to ensuring partnerships deliver sustainable development and long-term resilience.
