Mogadishu (SONNA) — The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Moallim Mahmoud, took part in a bilateral meeting between the Federal Government of Somalia and ambassadors from European Union member states supporting Somalia.
The meeting focused on security, the completion of Somalia’s constitution, ongoing one-person-one-vote elections, economic progress and state-building reforms.
He also noted that the Federal Government remains committed to advancing judicial institutions and implementing an inclusive democratic system that allows Somali citizens to directly participate in elections.
Minister Hassan Moallim Mahmoud commended the European Union’s continued support for state-building, judicial development and Somalia’s democratization process.
