Doha, (SONNA) – The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Bihi Iman Ige participated in a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Social Affairs of the League of Arab States in Doha.
The meeting, which focused on issues such as poverty and disability inclusion, concluded with the establishment of an executive committee on social affairs, consisting of seven countries including Somalia.
“It is a great honor for us to be part of the leadership of this Council as a country: Minister Ige stated.
He also held meetings on the sidelines to discuss cooperation in areas such as community development and job creation.
