Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, accompanied by the Governor of Banaadir and Mayor of Mogadishu, Xasan Maxamed Xuseen Muungaab, Chief of Army Staff Major General Sahal Cabdullaahi Cumar, MP Cismaan Maxamed Xaadoole, and other officials, visited the national forces stationed at battlefronts in the Middle Shabelle region.
During the visit, Minister Fiqi commended the troops for their recent successes against terrorist groups and urged them to advance into areas where militants are hiding. He emphasized the need to eliminate terrorist factions to ensure security, stability, and peace in the region and throughout the country.
