London, (SONNA) — The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Moallim, who is on a working visit to the United Kingdom, received a warm welcome upon his arrival in London.
Members of the Somali diaspora in the UK participated in the reception, expressing their support for the government’s ongoing efforts to advance Somalia’s development and state-building.
During the meeting, the minister briefed the community on the overall situation in the country, with particular focus on the progress toward completing and ratifying the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Somalia. He emphasized the importance of active participation from Somalis everywhere, noting that public input and support are essential to the constitutional process.
Minister Hassan Moallim also thanked the Somali community in the United Kingdom for their continued role in supporting the country’s development and for their contributions to strengthening Somalia’s state institutions.
